Training Programme for Paramedics

Certified Nursing Assistant Course(CNA)

2 years training programme for female students only. Recognised by Pakistan Nurse Council

Eligibility: Matric with Science with min 55% marks.

Diploma Ophthalmic Nursing Assistant

Curriculum is spread over one year. Aim is to train individuals as Ophthalmic Nursing Assistants so that they are employed in wards, OPDs and private clinics to help and assist the specialist doctors.

Eligibility: Matric with Science with min 55% marks.

Bio Medical Technician Course

Course is of one year duration. Students are trained in operation and trouble shooting  of Bio Medical Instruments.

Eligibility: Diploma in Associate Engineering(DAE)

Dispensing Optician

1 year course designed to trian people in refraction and making of eye glasses.

Eligibility: Matric with minimum 55% marks

Ophthalmic Technician Course

Curriculum is spread over two years. Aim is to train individuals as ophthalmic technicians so that they are employed in OPDs, reception and clinics to help and assist the specialist doctors.

Eligibility: Matric Science ( Physics, Chemistry , Biology) with minimum 45% marks unadjusted, aggregate of science subjects should also be minimum 45% as per the requirement of Punjab Medical Faculty

Ophthalmic Technician Course:
Ad is published in September and after selection of candidates course starts from October. Download Form

Ad is published in mid January, test / interview is held in mid February. Course starts from 1 March each year. Download Form

For all remaining courses: Ad is published in May/June and after selection of candidates course starts from July. Desirous candidates are advised to check the exact dates for ad/ start dates of course from PIO.
